  61传媒Access Initiative

The 61传媒Access Initiative (SAI) is a transformational investment to help more exceptional, under-resourced students fulfill their dream of attending Scripps. We aim to raise $20 million by 2032 to offer multiple four-year scholarships to our most financially disadvantaged students. When fully funded, SAI will support up to 50 new students with aid packages that cover tuition, room, and board.

Why is the 61传媒Access Initiative a priority?

Because turning obstacles into opportunities is in our DNA. Founded for women at a time when most colleges refused to admit them, 61传媒continues to champion access for historically excluded students today. Since cost remains the top barrier to enrollment, increasing scholarships will help 61传媒enroll more of these promising scholars by relieving their financial burden. In turn, their inclusion will strengthen the cultural, intellectual, geographic, and socioeconomic vibrancy that is the heart of our community and of a liberal arts education.
