For the 2025 Creative Caucus and workshop presenters, online registration is expected to open on Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. PDT. A special link to pre-register will be emailed to this group on May 14. Registration closes on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
For all other Campers, there is a NEW DATE! 61´«Ã½ will be closed on May 20, 2025. To better assist you during Camp registration, the new date to register online is Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. PDT.ÌýPre-registration is not available so please plan accordingly.ÌýRegistration closes on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Camp 61´«Ã½Information
The deadline for applying for a Campership and/or a Tamara Smiley Hamilton ’74 Travel Stipend has now passed and the application form is now closed.Ìý
If you would like to attend Camp but feel the registration and/or travel costs are holding you back, please consider applying for a Campership and/or a Tamara Smiley Hamilton ’74 Travel Stipend in the future. Campers may apply to both funds to help offset the cost of attending Camp Scripps.
Applications closed on April 27, 2025, and all applicants have been notified before registration opens in May.

Pricing:
- Day Camper Registration (includes all meals, drinks, and events per day)
- Thursday-Saturday: $80 per day; Sunday: $35
- Overnight Camper Registration (includes all meals, drinks, events, and overnight accommodations):
- 4 days/3 nights stay: $500 for single occupancy; $430 for double occupancy
- 3 days/2 nights stay: $350 for single occupancy; $305 for double occupancy
- 2 days/1 night stay: $214 for single occupancy; $194 for double occupancy
- Sunday night stay: $80 regardless of occupancy
Deadlines:
If registering after May 30, there is an additional $50 late fee. Registration closes Wednesday, June 4 at 11:59 p.m. PDT or until registration is full. Refund requests will be honored through June 4.
Camp will take place in Clark and Toll Halls. Single and double occupancy are offered in both dorms. If you plan to room with another Camper, both Campers must register for double occupancy and provide their roommate’s name during the registration process. If you do not have one, we will randomly assign you a Camper roommate.
During registration, you may list your top 5 room preferences (#1 being your top pick) and top 3 proximity preferences (#1 being your top pick). In addition to the dorm and room number, we will take into consideration who you would like to be roomed close to. Be prepared to indicate the full name and class year of the Camper(s) (up to three) who you would like to be in close proximity.

While the Office of Alumnae Engagement cannot accommodate non-Creative Caucus members on campus until Thursday, June 26, we have made arrangements at the DoubleTree Claremont (555 West Foothill Blvd., Claremont, CA 91711) if you wish to arrive on Wednesday.

Upon your arrival at Camp, first, you will need to park your vehicle on Platt Blvd.
- Please note that there is ongoing construction on Platt Blvd. and the parking lot outside of the Rose Garden is fenced off and unavailable.
Walk to Dorsey Hall Foyer to pick up your room key, conference card, and other materials.
After you pick up your check-in materials, go back to your vehicle and unload on Platt Blvd (behind Browning Hall) or Amherst Avenue (behind Dorsey/Browning Halls).
- TheÌýarea behind Dorsey/Browning Halls is for loading and unloading purposes only and is reserved for 61´«Ã½staff. Parking for Camp is not allowed.
Long-term parking isÌýavailable in the surrounding streets andÌýthe Alumnae Field underground parking garage next to the Tiernan Field House. The entrance is at the south end of the Alumnae Field off North Mills Avenue.ÌýThe parking gate will be closed, so you will need your conference card to scan in andÌýenter.
If you’re interested in ride sharing to or from the airport, here’s a spreadsheet you can put your information into to coordinate with your fellow campers:
Pool Hours (subject to lifeguard availability):
Thursday, June 27: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday, June 28: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 29: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Pool rules: No food, glass, alcohol, or floaties are allowed. Water is okay.
Registration for Camp is a two-step process:
- STEP 1 includes selecting your ticket type (overnight or day Camper) and payment.
- STEP 2 includes completing a form about your room preferences, meal selection, and additional information.
- Once you complete STEP 1,Ìýyou will receive a confirmation email with a link to proceed to STEP 2. This step will only be considered valid once STEP 1Ìýis complete and payment has been received.
- Once you complete both steps, your registration is considered complete.
For the Creative Caucus and workshop presenters, online registration is expected to open on Wednesday, May 8ÌýatÌý10 a.m. PDT. AÌýspecial link to pre-register will be emailed to this group on May 8.ÌýRegistration closes on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
For all other Campers,Ìýonline registration is expected to open onÌýWednesday, May 15 atÌý10 a.m. PDT. The registration link will be emailed to this group on May 15.ÌýPre-registration is not available so please plan accordingly.ÌýRegistration closes on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Pricing
We are offering two types of registration:
- Day Camper registration (includes all meals, drinks, and events per day):
- Thursday-Saturday: $75 per day
- Sunday: $35
- Overnight Camper registration (includes all meals, drinks, events, and overnight accommodations):
- 4 days/3 nights stay:
- $480 for single occupancy
- $410 for double occupancy
- 3 days/2 nights stay:
- $330 for single occupancy
- $285 for double occupancy
- 2 days/1 night stay:
- $194 for single occupancy
- $174 for double occupancy
- Sunday night stay: $75 regardless of occupancy
- 4 days/3 nights stay:
Deadlines
If you register after May 29, there is a $50 registration fee. Registration closes June 5 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Cancellations and refunds will be honored through June 5.
Camp will take place in Browning and Dorsey Halls.ÌýSingle and double occupancy are offered in both dorms. If you plan to room with another Camper, both Campers must register for double occupancy and provide their roommate’s name during the registration process.

Camp is a raucous celebration of bonding, togetherness, and silliness. In order to create an atmosphere off privacy, trust, and safety for Campers, it is requested that all participants in Camp, this includes Campers, Admin, and Staff, refrain from posting ANY images of Campers on social media without the express permission of the Camper. The one exception for posting is the Camp 61´«Ã½private Facebook group. However, we would also ask that you not copy or save any images from the Camp Facebook group in order to share them elsewhere.
