Ella Strong Denison Library 61´«Ã½ is proud to be recognized as a top-ranking institution in The Wall Street Journal’s 2025 survey of US colleges and universities. This national survey, which gathers responses from students across the country, has twice ranked 61´«Ã½#1 for student experience and the #4 top liberal arts college in the Western United States.
Asking students “to what extent has university life helped you become wiser?” the survey collected responses from students at over 400 schools. 61´«Ã½, earning a weighted score of 8.9 to 9.0 out of 10.
Earlier this year, 61´«Ã½climbed in the U.S. News & World Report’s (USNWR) 2026 Best National Liberal Arts Colleges list. The College rose in three key areas, including social mobility, best value, best liberal arts college, while maintaining top spots for student experience and best undergraduate teaching. Forbes and The Princeton Review also named 61´«Ã½as a top college for 2025.
