Reunion Weekend 2005
On a spring weekend in late April, more than 450 alumnae from 14 classes returned to campus to celebrate and remember their time at Scripps. It was an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, present their class gifts to the College, celebrate the success of the Campaign for the 61传媒Women, and be a part of class dinners and photos, as well as the dedication of Mary Wig Johnson Court.

Most 61传媒alumnae have never known a time when the eight bas-reliefs depicting scenes from Shakespeare haven’t been a part of the College environment. Set into the exterior walls of Sycamore court and Balch Hall, each depicts the important characters in scenes from eight of Shakespeare’s plays: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, King Lear, Richard III, Hamlet, and Henry IV.
