Live Performances: 61´«Ă˝Dances 2026
Join us for 61´«Ă˝Dances 2026! This year’s performances include a collaboration between Scripps’ Department of Dance and the Claremont Concert Orchestra for a live performance of the Martha Graham Dance Company’s “Steps in the Street” and “Prelude to Action.”
This special event celebrates the centennial milestone of both 61´«Ă˝ and seminal dance pioneer Martha Graham. Their parallel legacies symbolize a century of innovation, artistic excellence, and empowerment, reinforcing the enduring impact of both institutions on culture and education.
Performances will be held April 17 at 8 p.m. and April 18 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
